2006 - E-Mail

Just a quick note with some new things:

If you thinking of diving and want to know how big the waves are going to be there's been some discussion on Yahoo - Groups - E-Divers.  Look up the NOAA Forecast at:

or someplace else.  This is for Mid State East Coast of florida.  For us if the wind is out of the East at 15 knots, you should not go out and the dive boat should call you and tell you not to go out [ if it's a good dive boat ].  My limit is 10 - 15 predicted out of the East I will not Go.  Out of the NE is makes bigger waves.  Out of the SE is smaller.  Out of the West is GOOD - it knocks down the waves.  Some more links to various weather spots and CAMS is at:

I like the Jupiter Inlet CAM because I'm usually going out of Stuart [ north of Jupiter ] or Jupiter or West Palm [ south of Jupiter:
If you see white caps - DON'T GO.

And to put in a plug for bugging this time of the year:
There are bugs out there, we just need calm seas to get to them!

Interesting Stuff that I’ve heard through the Coconut Grape Vine - somebody is buying up Key Largo and Walkers
You might want to stay with the Ma and Pa stores down there!

13-March, 2nd Monday of the month:  Space Coast SucbaNauts, Conchie Joes on Eau Gallie and the River in Melbourne at 6:30 PM, info at 321-951-5716
The group is discussing a weekend in Key Largo in April and a week at Fantasy Island in Roatan in November.  Worth going to this meeting to see what it's all about!

Greetings from SeaDragons!
We will be having the Grand Opening of our Titusville store next Saturday, March 4th.  The event will be catered and we will have several raffle drawings.  The store hours are 10:00am to 8:00pm on Saturday so stop by and enter to win some great prizes.
I have updated the contact page on the website to include the phone number and the store hours for the new shop.  I have also put up some new dive pictures from our recent trips over the past couple months.  Jupiter diving has been incredible lately!  The visibility has been 70-80' and the sharks are everywhere!!!
Happy diving and I hope to see you next Saturday in Titusville!

Greetings from SeaDragons!
Just a quick note to let you know that the Atomic Masks are in!  We anticipate these masks are going to fly off the shelf, so come by soon.  Check out their website for all the details http://www.atomicaquatics.com/vision.html.  The masks will be available at the Grand Opening of our Titusville store.
Note:  The Black silicone with Red frame and the Clear silicone Frameless masks are on back order.

Hello again. Thank you for putting out the word on the Nekton Cayman trip. We have filled nine spots and still need at least one more. The trip is $1855 (savings of $400)per person plus air fare. Spirit air has tickets for $272. If they have been on Nekton before they will get another $100 off. If you could send this out one more time I would certainly appreciate it. There are only four more spots left on the boat so if more than one person is interested they need to hurry. If interested contact me at matt99gators@yahoo.com or call 848-4733.
 Thanks again
Matt Russell
