Purpose: To Dive the Reefs & Wrecks of Florida and Catch Lobster

Dive Reports: 9-Sept-2005

Dive #1: . My Dive #510
A. Dive Boat / Location: Private 25er / Jupiter - Inside Lost Tree [ the inland reef ]
B. Conditions:
Visibility: Well over 40 ft - Really Great
Seas: 2 - to 4 [ Inches that is ]
Water Temp: 82 measured
Skies: Clouden over - no bri
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun - or in the ship cabin
C. Dive Information:
Depth & Time: Me: Genesis Nitrox Dive Computer - 93 feet for 40 min, 36% NITROX
Air consumption: Me: (120 cu ft), 3700 lbs to 500 lbs, PO2 1.37
Current: Mild to Medium to the north
Description: Pretty reef at first. Small ledges, got 4 bugs right off the bat. Drifted after that to not much of anything.

Dive #2: . My Dive #511
A. Dive Boat / Location: Private 25er / Jupiter - Outside 80 ft reef, trying to get away from the other boats
B. Conditions:
Visibility: Well over 40 ft - Really Great
Seas: 4 inches to on foot
Water Temp: 83 measured
Skies: Clouden over - no bright sun
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun
C. Dive Information:
Depth & Time: Me: Genesis Nitrox Dive Computer - 83 feet for 48 min, 36% NITROX, UP time 1:38
Air consumption: Me: (120 cu ft), 3800 lbs to 1200 lbs, PO2 1.26
Current: Mild to Medium to the north
Description: We drifted the Saraha Desert - some grass, lots of sand no Reef!!! Twas a bad drop!

Dive #3: . My Dive #512
A. Dive Boat / Location: Private 25er / Jupiter - Lost Tee - the normal 85 ft reef that all the dive boats go to! We stayed on the top of the ledge.
B. Conditions:
Visibility: Well over 20 ft - Going down
Seas: 6 - 12 inches to start and 4 - 6 footers with wind and rain at the end!
Water Temp: 82 measured
Skies: Clouden over - no bright sun
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun
C. Dive Information:
Depth & Time: Me: Genesis Nitrox Dive Computer - 77 feet for 37 min, 36% NITROX, up time 1:35
Air consumption: Me: (120 cu ft), 3900 lbs to 1800 lbs, PO2 1.19. we were called back to the surface via throttled engines due to a BAD STORM!
Current: Medium to the north
Description: We stayed on the top of this 80 - 90 ft reef at the 60 - 70 ft level. Bob was looking for tropicals and I was just looking. About half way into the dive, Bob pointed to up and up we went. The seas were awesome, sky's black. We came up into heavy winds and 4 - 6 ft seas. Twas fun getting back into the boat.
