Bugs in the Kitchen Sink

Dive #1: . My Dive #478
A. Dive Boat / Location: Private 25er / Jupiter - Lost Tree Hi Bar
B. Conditions:
Visibility: Well over 60 ft - FOREVER!!
Seas: 6 - to 8 [ Inches that is ]
Water Temp: 71 measured - with the warm surface sun, it wasn't toooo bad!
Skies: Sunny, Clear Blue Sky's - Typial of Florida!!
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun - or in the ship cabin

Depth & Time: Me: Genesis Nitrox Dive Computer - 86 feet for 43 min, 37% NITROX
Air consumption: Me: (120 cu ft), 3700 lbs to 1100 lbs, PO2 1.33 [ Yea I had some left, but my dive partner on an Al 80 didn't ]
Current: Medium to the north
Description: Well, being almost the end of Lobster season, the trend goes onto catching bugs. North of Jupiter is iffiee - kind of eaten out by Sea Bass. South of Jupiter there's a thousand boats. We got out a little after 9 and there were dozen's of fishing boats and several dive boats at this location. Bob and I were the 1st ones in the water [ 5 total on board ]. In we went, down we went and followed the BEAUTIFUL LEDGE. It went from 60 ft on the to to 90 on the bottom. Some areas were just Awesome! Yea, there were no bugs, but LOT'S OF FISH - Thousand's of Fish. This is what's divings all about - the 60 - 90 ft reefs with a Steel 120 cu ft tank of NITROX!! So, no bugs, lot's of fish, Great Vis - what more could you ask for!

Visibility: Well it's down to 40 - 50 ft with White Shit!
Seas: 6 - to 8 [ Inches that is ]
Water Temp: 71 measured - with the warm surface sun, it wasn't toooo bad!
Skies: Sunny, Clear Blue Sky's - Typial of Florida!!
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun - or in the ship cabin

Current: Medium to the north
Description: Another Great Dive with Bob. This time we were on some flat areas with occasional rock formations. That's where the bugs were. Got a few! We drifted the ball, saw some bugs got em. Good bug dive, not as great for the prettys - fish and reefs!!

B. Conditions:
Visibility: Starting to get bad - 30 ft in Wall Snot and White Shit.
Seas: 6 - to 8 [ Inches that is ]
Water Temp: 71 measured - with the warm surface sun, it wasn't toooo bad!
Skies: Sunny, Clear Blue Sky's - Typial of Florida!!
Air Temp: 80 - real nice in the sun - or in the ship cabin

Description: Most of this dive was drifting on Grass Fields at 60 ft! Not much but Long Sea Grass with an occasional rock formation. Did manage to get 2 bugs - but could have use more!!
