Friday Afternoon 1st dive
Dove with Marco as dive partner. We went down a line on the port side hoist. Cliff was about to go into a hatch just below the hoist, we watched him go in. We then worked our way up to the starboard side and up towards the bridge. Marco went in the bridge, I went around it. We came back the port side and worked our way back behind the hoist at the level of the deck. Starting to run low on time, we went back on the big platform and then came back to the hoist and back up. Vis was not the greatest, 30 ft maybe, and I should have looked over pics of the ship first. Should have gone in the bridge also. But it was a good dive. There was moderate current.

Friday Afternoon 2nd dive
Dove the Benwood with Marco. Lots of wreckage, couple of small bugs, lots and lots of grunts. Swam around the wreck, most of it is flat along the bottom except for one of the ships sides that sticks up about 10 ft.

Saturday Morning 1st dive
Down Center mooring, did the swimthroughs, up to bow and back to center stack. Lots of BIG Pompano, spade fish, some 2ft grouper. Dive Partner was a diver from Ohio, had done the Duane, but never went through the swimthroughs.

Saturday Morning 2nd dive
My first Key Largo Drift Dive. Nice wall, slopes down from about 60 ft to 100. Saw a nice Hog Fish, green moray, several bugs. The fish were not as many as you'd expect for the keys. Lot's of barrel sponges. Very nice dive. Saw at least 2 anchors and then one more that was stuck in about 80 ft with 1” line stretching across the reef. I managed to free the anchor [ see pictures ] and bring it up to the 60 ft ledge – that took a full BC of air. Tim, my dive partner, coiled the rope up on top of the anchor.

Saturday Afternoon 1st dive
Tammy's 1st Ocean Dive. Had problems with Tammy and her 7 ml wet suit, could not get her to break the surface. Put an extra 8 lbs in her BC pocket, but she would not get down. Kim, her son and I sent her back to the boat and drifted the wall. Son went down deep a few times – would not listen! Nice dive, lot's of pretty's. At end of dive, Marco was able to attach a lift bag to the anchor and bring it up for the crew – see pics.

Saturday Afternoon 2nd dive
Very nice shallow water reef dive. Tammy put on a regular wet suit and with 14 lbs could not get down. I gave her 2 more 2 lb weights and she finally got to the bottom. Her first expression of – Oh My God – Look at the Fish! And it went like that for the whole dive. --- Picks of 5 – 6 ft grouper. Interesting grouper – just hung around was not afraid of the divers. Again, lots of grunts, two green moray's. Nice dive, nice location.

Sunday Morning 1st dive
Went down with Kim and Son and Instructor, took pic of them together. Cave Cliff gave them a ride on his scooter – Instruct was not happy about that! Almost saw nice tarpon in broken section. Swam around the stern section, through the bridge. On front section, did the swimthrough on the deck level, port side. Went through the blast hole in the hold. Hung around the bow for our bottom time to run out. Interesting other dive boat came – put down their divers and they were up before us!

Sunday Morning 2nd dive
Nice drift, average depth 30 – 40 ft. Missed the edge, but there was some nice relief of 2 – 6 ft and trenches. One nurse shark, no bugs, lot's of small fish.
